In the year 2018 life as a vegetarian is so easy! Compared to 10 years ago, or even 1 year ago, it seems so simple even normal to forgo the meat during a family dinner, a business luncheon, or at a social gathering with friends. With the prevalence of fake meats, almond milks, and activist organizations the message of going meatless is growing increasingly popular in every day society!

Although this mindset is very prominent these days, many people who want to give this lifestyle a chance don’t really know how or where to start. Don’t worry, Linds can help!

  • Ask Yourself Why

One of the most important questions to ask yourself before you embark on this lifestyle is, why? Going vegetarian isn’t just extremely healthy for your body and mind, it’s also extremely healthy for the environment.   • Start Eating Vegetarian One Day of the Week

And then eventually start incorporating more vegetarian meals throughout the week! By starting slowly it will be easier for your body and mind to acclimate.

Make cooking your vegetarian meals fun by branching out of your food comfort zone. There are so many delicious vegetarian recipes for any dish you can think of!   • Cut Out All Red and Processed Meats First

The easiest way to ease yourself off of eating meat is to cut out all red meat first. Red and processed meats are some of the most unhealthy meats one can eat and have been classified as a Group 1 and 2A carcinogens by the World Health Organization.
